"Third-party apps keep giving me trouble"
I’ve been trying to use the integrations, but they barely seem to work right now. A few of them just stopped connecting or broke unexpectedly, and it’s a little frustrating. I’d feel a lot better if there were clearer updates or some reassurance that this is being fixed soon.

"Helpful support, though a little slow"
I was already a bit annoyed that day because one of my calendars wasn’t showing up properly in Fantastical, so I reached out to Flexibits support hoping it would be an easy fix. They got back to me the next day, which was fine, but I was definitely checking my inbox a lot.
The reply was actually helpful, not one of those generic copy-paste responses. They asked me to send a screenshot, then pointed out a setting I had completely missed, and that ended up sorting the sync issue out.
I’m giving 4 stars just because the time between replies was a little longer than I would’ve liked. Still, they were friendly, the advice worked, and I appreciated that they treated it like a real issue
"Great app, but the price is getting hard to justify"
I’ve really enjoyed using this app and think it’s well designed with some genuinely useful features. That said, the subscription has gotten a bit too expensive for me, and it’s becoming hard to justify keeping it. I still like the app overall, but I’d love to see a more affordable option.

"Took more figuring out than I expected"
I really wanted to like it, but getting it set up was more confusing than I thought it would be. The menus aren’t very intuitive, and a few things are tucked away in places I never would’ve guessed, so I ended up clicking around a bunch just to find basic settings. It works okay once you get past that, but it’s not exactly user-friendly. I also didn’t feel super confident reaching out to customer service because, i don’t always trust that they’ll give a straight or helpful answer
"Feels like tasks are left hanging"
I tried using it to keep track of my tasks, but it just felt half-finished. The reminders got messy quickly, and organizing everything was more awkward than helpful. I also had that left-in-the-dark feeling where I wasn’t always sure what was coming up or what I’d already handled. For the price, I really don’t think it’s worth it...

"Syncing keeps letting me down"
I keep running into issues with the calendar sync, and it breaks way more often than I expected. Sometimes things just don’t update when they should, and that part was weird because I assumed syncing would be the one thing I wouldn’t have to think about.

"Nice idea, but a bit too cluttered for me"
I can see why people like flexibits, and it definitely has a polished look when you first open it. But after using it for a while, the interface started to feel crowded to me, with lots of small buttons and menus that weren’t always where I expected them to be.
For daily use, I found myself clicking around more than I wanted just to find basic settings or do simple things. It’s not a bad app at all, and there are some thoughtful touches, but for the price I was hoping it would feel a little cleaner and easier to use.

"I’m totally fine paying for apps I use..."
I’m totally fine paying for apps I use a lot, but Flexibits just feels too pricey for what it is. The features are nice and it’s a good-looking calendar, but I don’t feel like I’m getting enough to justify the cost. I was also a bit confused because the website made it sound like one thing, but once I got into the pricing/subscription details it felt different than what I expected. Overall, it just feels like a lot to pay for a calendar app...

"Setup was way too confusing"
Not gonna lie, I tried setting up Flexibits and ended up giving up after a while. The onboarding felt messy, and I kept getting bounced between different screens without really knowing what I was supposed to do next. The calendar sync part wasn’t clear either. For an app like this, getting started should feel simple, but it really didn’t.

"I’m not sure where my data is..."
I’m not sure where my data is actually going, and that’s frustrating. The privacy details feel unclear, and it’s like, give me a break, just tell me plainly what’s being collected and who’s seeing it.

"My contacts kept turning into a mess"
I had a really frustrating time with the contact syncing. It would seem like everything was fixed for a bit, and then suddenly the sync would break again or a bunch of duplicate contacts would show back up. I kept cleaning them up, merging them, deleting extras, and thinking I was done, but then the same problem would come back later. It made managing something as basic as my contact list feel way more complicated than it should have been.

"Helpful, but I still feel a little rushed"
This app does help me remember things I’d probably forget, which is nice because I already feel like I’m juggling too much. The notifications mostly work, but every now and then an alert comes in a bit late, and that makes me feel even more pressured to catch up

"Kind of frustrating across devices"
I was hoping to use this on both my phone and laptop, but it’s been a bit messier than I expected. Some things seem to work fine on one device and then not so much on the other, which gets annoying quickly. Syncing has also been kind of hit or miss for me. For the price, I feel like the cross-platform experience should probably be a lot smoother...
"Great when it stays open"
I’ve been using Fantastical from flexibits for quite a while now, mostly because I like having my work stuff, personal calendar, and random reminders all in one place. I even check it in the morning while I’m drinking coffee and pretending I’m going to have a perfectly organized day. I really do want to like the app, and when it’s working, it’s nice. But lately it keeps freezing when I switch between calendars, and every so often it just closes on me for no obvious reason.
The other frustrating part is that syncing can get a little weird after it crashes, so I end up reopening the app and double-checking events to make sure nothing is missing or out of date. It’s not completely unusable, and I’m not ready to delete it or anything, but it’s become annoying enough that I notice it. For a paid app, I just expect it to be more reliable...

"Pretty good app, but the billing stuff is a headache"
I mean, the app itself works fine for what I need, nothing amazing but it gets the job done and I haven’t had any major issues using it. The part that kind of annoyed me was the billing side of things, it just felt more complicated than it needed to be. I also had to contact support and they did eventually help, but it took way longer than I expected, so that was frustrating. Overall it’s okay, just wish that part of the experience was smoother

"Pretty slow lately"
It’s been loading really slowly recently, and it makes the experience feel a lot less worth it. I don’t mind waiting a bit here and there, but this has started to feel frustrating
